The Good Love presents Record Breakers!

Join us to enjoy The Good Love with Matt Love playing an eclectic mix of Funk, Ska, 60s RnB, New Wave, Reggae, Post funk & Old Hip Hop all on vinyl.

Matt runs the Good Love record shop in Brightlingsea which is a great place to spend a couple of hours browsing through the vinyl and vintage goods, and enjoyng an iced coffee or two!

Music starts at 6pm and goes through to 11pm and entry is completely free!

Head through the bar and discover our suntrap garden, a relaxed spot for a drink with friends, catching some sunshine and whiling away the afternoon.

Dog friendly too, so four legged drinking companions are always welcome.

Craft Beer Maldon is proud to showcase a carefully curated selection of beers and ciders from well known as well as small-batch brewers. We have over 50 beers and ciders in cans and bottles, keg and cask from bold, hop-forward IPAs and rich, malty stouts to crisp, refreshing ciders bursting with real fruit flavour.

We believe in celebrating quality over quantity, supporting independent makers and bringing you fresh, exciting drinks that you won’t find everywhere else.

Enjoy beers from around the UK as well as beers from renowned brewers in Belgium and Germany. Our beers are always changing so be sure to keep up to date with our latest beer list!

It's not all about the beer!

We've put together a small but perfectly formed wine and spirits list along with a great selection of no and low beers and some great soft drinks too if you're the designated driver.

Our wine list brings great wine from around the world including New Zealand, South Africa, France, Italy, Portugal and Argentina - This is complimented by a number of wines from our friends Missing Gate in South Woodham.

At Craft Beer Maldon we believe great nights deserve great soundtracks, so every week we open up the floor to DJs and music lovers who know how to keep the energy flowing. Expect an eclectic mix from the smooth grooves of jazz and soul, to the uplifting vibes of reggae, the attitude of punk, and the irresistible hooks of pop and Northern Soul.

We don’t stop there – indie favourites, classic 80s cuts, and forgotten gems are all part of the journey. Each night brings something different, but always with the same goal: to create a space where people come together, connect through music, and let the beats set the mood.

Our open deck sessions are a chance for anyone with a passion for music to step behind the turntables and share the tracks they love most. Whether you’re a seasoned DJ or just starting out, it’s all about expression, energy and community.

So come down, grab a drink, and let the soundtrack of jazz, soul, reggae, indie, punk, 80s,pop and Northern Soul carry you into the night.

At Craft Beer Maldon there’s always something happening to bring people together. We believe great beer tastes even better with good company, laughter, and a little bit of friendly competition – which is why our calendar is packed with events designed to keep things lively all year round.

Every month, you can test your knowledge at our fun-filled quiz night, enjoy the unpredictable excitement of bingo with a twist or gather friends for a games night filled with classic and modern favourites or even teach others your favourite game. We’ll also be hosting regular tap takeovers shining a spotlight on brilliant small-batch breweries and give you the chance to meet brewers and wine experts introducing you to new flavours from the very source.

Alongside our regular events we love to celebrate the moments that make the year special. Expect themed nights to mark everything from Day of the Dead and Bonfire Night to Beaujolais Day and Oktoberfest, St George’s Day, Burns night and even a colourful Jamaica Day – each bringing unique music, food, and atmosphere to match the occasion.

There will be some suprises along the way such as "Feestag Van Belgie" held this year over the weekend starting Friday 17th July to celebrate Belgium's National Day. Enjoy trappist, fruit and Dubbel beers and Belgian favourites like croquettes, frites and Beef Carbonnade.
